Authenible Payments · for bowling leagues

Bowling season is here.
Give your bowlers the convenience of going cashless.

How it works: Set up all your leagues and fee schedules with Authenible Payments. Then use our Avery 6427 (2″ × 4″) label template to print each league's unique QR code, and stick them on each team envelope. League members scan the QR code with their phone to make electronic payments.

Running a tournament?

Squads, divisions, and entries — online.

Set up squads with spot limits and handicap or scratch divisions, print the QR sign, and let captains register and pay for their whole team. Every bowler claims their own spot, and entry money lands straight in your bank. Free to set up, $18 to activate.

What it costs your bowlers

Cheaper than the ATM in the lobby.

That ATM charges about $3 to hand your bowlers their own money — and their bank usually adds an out-of-network fee on top of it. Paying online costs less, and it takes the walk out of it.

Way to payPays a $20 weekPays 5 weeks at once
Authenible Service Fee$1.32$4.54
Trip to the ATM~$3.00 + their bank's fee~$15.00 (five trips)

The fee is per payment, not per week — so a bowler who pays five weeks at once pays it once. Over a 32-week season, a weekly payer spends about $42 instead of roughly $96 in ATM surcharges. A $20 week is $20.57 paid from a bank account instead of $21.32 — it takes a few days to clear.

For the bowler

Easier for the person paying.

  • Pay whenever it suits them. Not just on league night, standing at the desk, hoping they remembered to stop at the bank.
  • Their card, their points. Paying by credit card works the way it always does — whatever rewards their card earns, it earns here too.
  • A receipt, every time. Emailed in your league's name, the moment the payment goes through.
  • They can always check. Every payment they've made and every week still owed, in their account, any time they want to look.

For the secretary

Everything the job takes, in one place.

Built for the person who's been doing this the hard way — collecting at the lanes, recording the cash, chasing who's behind. No spreadsheet on the side, no second app.

Getting paid

The fastest way from “who still owes?” to money in the bank.

  • A QR code for every league. Print a poster for the wall or a sheet of 2″ × 4″ labels for team envelopes. Each season gets its own code and a short web link to share.
  • Card, Apple Pay, or bank. Bowlers pay by card, Apple Pay, Cash App Pay, or straight from a bank account for a lower Service Fee. You can turn bank payments off for any league.
  • Pay ahead, one fee. Bowlers can pay several weeks at once and pay a single Service Fee for all of them.
  • A home screen on their phone. After signing in, bowlers see two big buttons: Make a payment, and View payment history — what they've paid, what's past due, and what's left this season.
  • All their leagues in one place. A bowler in three leagues sees all three on one page, each with what they owe, and pays any of them in a tap.
  • You'll know the moment it lands. An email names who paid and which weeks, so you're never guessing what came in.

Your records

One ledger for every dollar, however it was paid.

  • Cash, check, Venmo, Zelle. Record any of them in seconds — one week or a whole run of weeks at once — and send a receipt from your own email. Free, forever.
  • A grid that tells the truth. Every bowler, every week. Online payments are confirmed by Stripe and can't be edited; anything you record is labelled “recorded by your league.” Bank payments still on their way are flagged so nobody pays twice.
  • Double payments stopped. If a week is already paid — online, or in cash you recorded against their Player ID — checkout tells the bowler before charging them. Anything that slips through is flagged in the grid.
  • Fix a mix-up in one move. Paid for the wrong week? Move the payment to the right one — the money and the history stay intact.
  • Notes from the people paying. Bowlers can add a note at checkout — “sanction fee only, I'm a sub” — and you see it right in the grid.
  • A ledger that holds up. Every entry carries who recorded it and when, and non-cash entries carry a reference — check number, transaction ID — so an audit has something to follow.

Your season

The schedule bends when the season does.

  • A schedule that builds itself. Answer three questions — how often, first and last date, the fee — and the weeks are made for you. Change any week's amount whenever you need to.
  • Holidays, closures, weather. Skip a week and the rest of the season moves with it. Reopen it if plans change.
  • Season after season. Start a new season without losing the last one's history. Every season keeps its own schedule, QR code, and records.
  • Fee types. Weekly dues, a one-time fee, a sanction fee — label each charge so everyone can see what it's for, on the pay page and in your grid.
  • Teams. Put players on teams for the season and see each team's payments and who's behind at a glance.
  • Tournaments too. Run a tournament from the same dashboard: squads, divisions, team entries paid online, and bowlers claiming their own spot.
  • Subs and alternates. Mark a bowler as a sub or an alternate and they're never counted as behind — their own screen says there's nothing due, and they can still pay the weeks they bowl.

Your people

Bring the list you already have and keep it tidy.

  • Bring your list with you. Already keep your bowlers in a spreadsheet? Upload it — names, emails, and member IDs come straight in.
  • Clean up duplicates. Two records for the same person? Merge them, with a preview of exactly what moves first. Mark someone inactive, with a note saying why.
  • Reminders that wait for you. Turn on past-due reminders and you get the list first. Bowlers get a friendly email a day later — after you've had time to record the cash they handed you. They can turn the emails off.
  • Your own ID label. Call it a USBC Id, a member number, or anything you like — it's the label on your pay page and in your grid.

Your team and your money

Not a one-person job anymore, and never our money.

  • Share the load. Invite a co-secretary or treasurer with their own sign-in. Give each person full access, edit access, or view-only.
  • Straight to your league's bank. Payments go from the bowler to your league's own Stripe account. Authenible never holds, routes, or escrows your money.
  • A bank account per league. Running several leagues? Each one can pay out to its own bank account.
  • Refunds from your dashboard. Refund a week in a couple of taps. The money goes back to the card or bank it came from — the Service Fee isn't returned.
  • Lineage straight to your bowling center. Link your league to its bowling center and the lineage part of every card payment goes straight to the center. Lineage collected by bank or cash shows on a shared statement, so you both see what's been paid and what's still owed.
  • Your season at a glance. Members, who's past due, payments this week, and what's been collected against what you expected — on one card for every league.

Trust

Your league's money, your league's bank.

  • Payments go straight from your bowler to your league's own Stripe account. Authenible never holds, routes, or escrows your money — that is not a policy we could change our minds about, it is how the system is built.
  • Online payments are confirmed by Stripe and cannot be edited after the fact.
  • Anything you record by hand is clearly labelled as recorded by your league, so the two never get confused.

Pricing

Free to run. A small Service Fee when someone pays online.

Your league pays nothing. No setup fee, no monthly fee, no per-bowler fee. Recording cash and checks is free forever. When a bowler pays online, a small Service Fee is added to their payment — a $20 week comes to $21.32 — and your league banks the full $20.
